Description

The annual meeting of Seattle King County Association of Realtors will be held on November 8 at 11:00 AM in its offices in Bellevue. The meeting will be held in conjunction with its regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting. The agenda of the annual meeting will include consideration of a motion to merge with the Kittitas County Association of Realtors, in which Seattle King County Realtors (SKCR) will be the surviving corporate entity. The motion to merge and recommend its approval to the general membership was approved by the SKCR Board on September 20, 2023. Consideration of this motion is contingent upon the merger agreement being approved by the membership of Kittitas County in October, whose Board recommended such merger on September 7, 2023. Upon approval, the SKCR membership will also be asked to approve conforming bylaw amendments expanding the territorial jurisdiction of SKCR to include Kittitas County.
